At
Crowborough CAB our advice workers can give you free
advice and information on a wide range of subjects,
including social security benefits, consumer rights,
debt, credit, housing, work, family and relationship
problems, legal matters, local services, health and
disability, and much more.
We
discuss your situation fully in the strictest confidence
and our advice is completely free and impartial. If
necessary, we can help with making telephone calls on
your behalf, writing letters and negotiating and presenting
your case.
Sometimes
you may benefit from certain advice that is not available
from the bureau – in which case we may suggest that
you consult other services, for example solicitors and
other voluntary organizations.
Situated
near to Tunbridge Wells, Crowborough is a rural market
town easily accessible by rail or road. You can visit
the bureau without an appointment (see
map). You may have to wait in our reception area before
you are able to see an adviser. There is usually a receptionist
in the waiting room who can help if you want local information,
to pick up some leaflets or leave a message.
We
are able to offer advice by telephone (contact
details). Please note that sometimes the lines are
very busy so you may have to leave a message. Alternatively,
you can telephone either Hailsham
CAB or Uckfield
